Rekindled Soul has been foreseen as being one of the best PoetryBlogs in the series of BlogSites ran by myself, MKDS & The MKDS Network throughout the Internet. As this is based on the amount of visitors to all sites through the Network, we can reveal that Rekindled Soul and Rekindled Soul (A Poets New Beginning) will be put through a transformation during the Christmas Holiday Season.

We would like to wish everyone who has clicked on this BlogSite, whether by accident or on purpose a very Happy Christmas and a great New Year. We hope that you will return to the BlogSites in the New Year.

Survivor’s Tale

Touched Inside by the way she does feel

My Lady stands proud by my side,

No cruelty of malice leaves her lips

Nor free will within does she hide.

Note this night in our fondest memories

For tonight we are young and free,

Our hearts and spirits bath in joy

With this golden rule I do no decree;

Live today like it will be that of your last

Let not your enemy take your last breath,

Allow your heart to open with that of love

And then defend it all until your death.

Awaken both man and beast inside

Stand firm the mortal courage to prevail,

Alas the end comes so near and close

As fate does decide whether I tell this tale.

Battle Of Madness

The torment of madness has withered

Dying from its very own mad decay,

My body enriched, now the game begins

So winner or loser, it will be come what may.

Stand my ground I do with pride

With fire in my heart I fight with honour,

Breaking the spirit of my weary enemy

And of what remains I do not ponder.

With sword and shield I arise a warrior

No General nor world top brass am I,

For today I dine before I go to hell

Or to the gods own valley my soul shall fly.

One more wave I dash into this war

My head held high upon a field of blood,

Many laying dying before that last battle cry

But only one can stand victor over good.

A Diva’s Love

It’s saturday night and your feeling fine

Just one quick shower and out you go,

Pub, Club and a night you’ll alway’s remember

Will have you question as to why you were low!

A time to bring back thought’s of that night

When sniggers and giggles brings you to write,

Dear Diary, I feel so warm and glad inside

Tonight I believe I finally met my Mister Right.

With his arms he did so protect me like a Queen

Taking me respectfully as for who I am for real,

He is the one who that for many is good and true

But more so do I say it because of the way I feel.

Dear Diary, before today my life meant nothing

The world was my enemy until that one good night,

With no rebound or pressure tonight my life changes

For my world did open through the path that shone bright.

Pounding hard is my heart through our meet

The drink’s breaking the ice like a plough through snow,

As with a feathered touch he brushed my hand

For as it is written my love at first sight I did now know.

A Billion Tears

Unto this Earth I gaze with tear-stained eyes

As along with me MotherNature herself does cry,

Once a world so young and proud to stand

Now hanging among the nocturnal stars to die.

One billion tears descend from the majestic skies

Showering one and all of my perfect fellow man,

Washing away the stains of their progression

While forcing together all that they possibly can.

My tears are for the ocean’s, sea and landing Isle

The wild life that exist’s wild and free within,

My tears are for land and air that we breathe

While our actions upon them become’s man’s sin.

My tears are for our children and their children, too,

Thier world that we have helped others to destroy,

Bringing violence and death upon our good brother

And bitterness and hatred replacing that of joy.

The Luna Moon*

And from this wake I see this dawn

The rise of the sun passing into noon,

So awake my are my eyes in this passing day

Until at last comes light from the luna moon.

Let not my eyes close before this night

For the silver beacon beckons me so,

Upon the wing of air it rains on Earth and sea

Bringing forth that door to which I must go.

From within comes the tear’s I cry with joy

Bot more is the pity that I cannot stay,

Though this night I descend in exstasy

Where comes upon the dawn a new day.

So lost am I without that sweet taste of night

My heart and soul lacking the essence of time,

Where there be not that of my mind and spirit

Then to luna I shall finally acquire as mine.

The Blip

In my head there is a world

Filled with darkness and fear,

A black pulsating orb of death

It’s intentions unknown, unclear.

When I become happy it nips me

Sending pain throughout my head,

A little blip on the base of my brain

Or so the doctor’s and surgeons said.

The pain can be cured with a tablet

For the stability we recommend rest,

The ache should subside in due course

If not we’ll run another random test.

In my head there is a world

One which not many people see,

That blip in my brain is a tumour

And the one who is in pain is me!

Temple Of Dreams [1]

I look within the Temple of Dreams

Searching for a place set in time,

So distant and so out of touch

To touch it would be such a crime.

My glances continue far and wide

Searching each and every room in turn,

Trying hard to find that dream I lost

Before at last I fail and my soul does burn.

Bow and pray I do to the Temple of Dreams

For it is the first and last place of mortal life,

The creator of the mightiest imaged creation

And destroyer of suffering, pain and strife.

So did the gods entrust us all this temple

So did the designer’s in life’s lasting plan,

Until such a day that dream’s are no more

And the lives we make we no longer can.

Dark Destroyer

I am that of the destroyer

The one of a darkened heart,

Where light fade’s to my touch

And oceans break and part.

I am he that is of a whisper

My name forbidden to be spoken,

Through time and space I travel

Cursed by a curse never to be broken.

I am of the wind and the rain

That which is both dry and wet,

Together they wreak destruction

Within a future not yet set.

For mankind’s province is here

As mine is the star’s within space,

Of Earth I am the tainted god

The bringer of death without a face.
